Lladró has made beautiful hand-crafted porcelain pieces since 1953. These koi sculptures are a beautiful addition to a Chinoiserie style home. They have swimming koi with traditional chinoiserie elements like lotus flowers, lily pads, and waves. They are handmade in Spain.

Boldblue is a collection playing with golden luster and the intense electric blue color made famous by the avant-garde artist Yves Klein in the 1950s.

Both have a koi fish leaping from a cresting wave. The pastel version has a waterlily at the base. The Boldblue version has lotus leaves finished in gold luster.
Lladró’s golden luster is made of a formulation containing real 24-karat gold mixed with liquid chemical compounds and organic resins.
