New Monorail Kits from Tech Lighting
Monorail lighting is a great choice for many homes.

Tech Lighting’s 800RAL28 Monorail kit has two pendants and two heads made with natural onyx. The metal hardware is finished in antique bronze.
They use 20watt MR16 lamps. These are not very bright, so this shouldn’t be the only lighting in the room. But, MR16s direct the light, so they are a great choice to draw attention to things. The rail drops 3 1/2″ from the ceiling, then the pendants can be adjusted to the height you want. The surface transformer makes installing this no more difficult than hanging any other ceiling fixture. It can be dimmed with any standard incandescent dimmer. There is 36″ of rail that can be curved into whatever shape you want.
Tech Lighting’s more modern Focus monorail kit, above and Revival kit below each have five heads that can be adjusted and rotated to put the light where you want it.
The Focus kit is Matte Nickel, the Revival kit is in polished nickel. Both would be ideal in a modern or contemporary home.
The super clean and simple Tech Lighting 800RAL5MK Spire Complete 5-Head Monorail Kit is the lowest price I have ever seen on a quality monorail kit. At only a little over $200, this minimalist kit includes five 20 watt fixtures and everything you need to design your layout. All finished in matte nickel.
Finally, Tech Lighting’s 800RAL5 Sola Rail 5-Head Complete Monorail Kit is available in three different glass and metal combinations. It also drops 3 1/2″ from the ceiling and is completely customizable. It installs to a standard junction box and may be dimmed with a standard incandescent dimmer.
