Hidden Bird Blue and White Foot Bath Porcelain Planters come in three sizes. They have a stylized peony motif with other leaves, flowers and songbirds.
The peony represented honor. It is combined with flowers and songbirds to represent a garden. It is a variation of a pattern popular as export china in the 18th century. Song birds are painted within a rich pattern of flowers.
They are available in three sizes. 12” wide, 14” wide and 19” wide.
They are quite expensive. What I do with things like this on Amazon is, I put them in my shopping cart. Then, if they go down in price, Amazon lets me know. And things do go down! A lot sometimes!
This has a very similar pattern, but a different form.
And this one looks like it was cast in the same mould, but has a more traditional Blue Willow pattern.
